Surviving a brain tumour is tough. It doesn’t come with a guidebook.
Living with the life long side effects of treatment (balance issues, hearing loss, tinnitus, headaches…) does little to boost self-confidence.
What does help, though, is being in the company of others who have been through the same experience.
Harnessing the often underestimated healing power of nature, many of our activities take place outdoors.

Expeditions That Redefine Recovery
We don’t just cross landscapes. We transform them!
In 2024, we launched our first overseas expedition. A team of ten reached the summit of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak. For many, it wasn’t just a climb. It was a declaration of life after brain surgery, of strength reclaimed and limits rewritten.
This November, we returned to Morocco. Not to climb, but to cross. Our challenge? A five-day, 100km trek through the Sahara Desert. Eight brain tumour survivors walked side by side with supporters, guides and medics, navigating sand dunes, heat and horizonless skies. It really was a journey of resilience, connection and radical possibility.
And we’re not stopping there. Plans are already underway for a return to Toubkal in 2026, this time via a new, longer route, taking in North Africa’s highest lake and highest peak, because recovery isn’t a destination. It’s a way of moving through the world.
Our expeditions are designed to be inclusive and accessible. We welcome people with lived experience of brain tumours, who believe in challenging assumptions about recovery. You don’t need to be an athlete, just open to adventure, community and the belief that healing can happen far beyond hospital walls.
